A notarized or certified true copy is a photocopy of an original document authenticated by a Notary Public as a certified true copy of the original.
Why do we need it?
Obtaining a certified true copy is a convenient way to prevent the loss of your original documents while being in any legal or financial processes in Canada. It is also an obligation to have your applications processed in some cases.

- Provide Photocopies: To expedite the process, we recommend bringing your own photocopies. However, we definitely can make photocopies from the original documents and certify them for you.
- Other People’s Documents: To obtain documents on behalf of another person, please ensure you have a consent form proving you are authorized to obtain this service for them.
- Color or Black & White Copies: We typically provide black and white copies. If the receiving office requires color copies, please inform us in advance.
- Multiple Documents on One Page: Notarization usually occurs on separate pages for each document. Combining them on a single page is possible upon request, but requires confirmation from the receiving office for their acceptance.
- Multi-Page Documents: Our standard procedure seals the first page and stamps all pages together. Separate seals and stamps are available for an additional fee, if required by the receiving office. Please inform us about this at the time of your appointment.
