If you’ve lived in Canada for more than six months, you usually need an RCMP Criminal Record Check or police check when applying for immigration, work, or study in another country.

How to Get Started

What You’ll Need
The main requirement is a fingerprint card, but you’ll also need to fill out some additional forms for your application. You can get your fingerprints taken at a local police station or an authorized fingerprinting agency in your country. Once you have all your documents ready, send them to us via email for review before mailing everything to our office in Canada. We’ll take care of converting your fingerprints into a digital format and submitting your application electronically to the RCMP.
Receiving Your Results
It usually takes about 2-3 weeks to receive the results from the RCMP after we submit your application. The RCMP will send the results to your preferred address in Canada or the US via regular mail (without a tracking number). Alternatively, the results can be sent to our office, and we can mail them to your overseas address for an additional fee.
